The European Project has become the enemy

"The methods being used to force this treaty through after electorates have already spoken cross a line that may not be crossed. The European Project has become the enemy." So writes Ambrose Evans-Pritchard.

Nah! It always was the enemy, Ambrose. Now it's just a bit more obvious.

The question for David Cameron, he then writes, is whether he will continue this practice, or take a stand before any more pages are ripped out of our own Magna Carta. "Go on, David, sock the usurpers between the eyes," says Ambrose.

Not a chance. He is a friend of the "project". And if an enemy of my enemy is a friend, a friend of my enemy is?
